Welcome to the Township of Bonnechere Valley's website.  The content has been deviced into two sections: residents and visitors.  Below you will find a brief description of both sides of the site and what you will find in them.

We invite tourists to use this website as:

• A Guide to the beautiful lakes, rivers, beaches and resorts you can find in every corner of our Township.
• A Local Events Calendar, good for Summer, Winter, Spring and Fall.
• A place to find out about local camping, cottage and lodge accomodations.
• A guide to many local restaurants and retail businesses.
• An introduction to the beautiful Village of Eganville, also known as "the Jewel of the Bonnechere".
• A way to find out about the history of this unique township, from the old settlers route called the Opeongo Line to some pre-historic exploring in the Bonnechere Caves.
• An invitation to the winter snowmobiling excitement of the Toromont Cat Bonnechere Cup.
  (This is the only professionally sanctioned oval-track snowmobile race in Ontario!)
• The Township boasts the home of the world renowned Black Water Designs Company that manufactures Sierra Designs Outerwear worldwide.

We invite local residents and business people to use this website as:

• A place to find out about local regulations, licensing information and community notices.
• A way to find out about upcoming events.
• A way to access minutes of council meetings and contact local representatives.
