The Township of Bonnechere Valley recognizes that it must manage its asset costs effectively. For this reason, the municipality has initiated a Road Management Study. This study will provide the municipality with a comprehensive plan in order to manage its road network over the next 5 years
The Purpose of the Road Management Study is to inventory and assess the road network within the Municipality from which a financial program for the maintenance and capital improvements can be derived.
This study is part of the long term strategic planning process for The Township of Bonnechere Valley.

Waste Management Strategic Plan Environmental Assessment Information
The Township has initiated a Waste Management Strategic Plan in order to manage waste over a 25-year period.
The purpose of the Study is to devise a Waste Management Strategic Plan that is technically sound, fiscally responsible and inclusive of public opinion. The Waste Management Strategic Plan is subject to an individual Environmental Assessment, which is governed by the Ontario Environmental Assessment Act (EAA).
In accordance with the Environmental Assessment Act, the Bonnechere Valley Waste Management Strategic Plan will evaluate several waste management alternatives and alternative methods from technical, economic and public opinion perspectives.

Clear Garbage bags may be purchased at the Municipal Office for $1 each,
or at the following locations:
- Eganville Freshmart
- Village Discount & Variety Store
- Eganville Country Store.
Waste Site cards are now available at Bonnechere Lodge and at Breen's Store
on the Opeongo Road, as well as at the Municipal Office.
In Eganville Ward 1, waste must be placed at the curb, and will only be accepted in the
clear plastic bags available at the Municipal Office.
Users of all other waste sites and transfer stations must pick up a pre-paid card or bags
at the municipal office and bring their card and bagged waste to the waste sites with them.
